App That Checks If Tecno Android Phone is Rooted or Not

If you just finished trying an Android rooting trick you saw somewhere online and want to know whether you were successful in rooting your Tecno Android phone, you can easily check the root status with a free app which you can download from Google Play. If you've just purchased a second-hand Tecno phone, you can also use the app to check it if is rooted or not.


The root checker app verifies proper root installation and lets you know if your device has proper root access. You cannot use the app to root your device. I used it to check the root status of my Tecno M7 and as you can see in the screenshot below, my phone is not yet rooted.

How To Download Root Checker for Tecno Android Phone.

Go to the Root Checker's page at Google play to download and install the app.

Once installed successfully, tap it's icon to luanch it. Then tap "Agree" and tap the verify root access button as seen in the screenshot below:

The app will then display the root status of your phone.
