Nokia 220, Asha 230 Price in Nigeria and Specifications

Nokia 220 and Asha 230 were both unveiled same day Nokia made the most headlines with the Android-powered X line of devices (X, X+ and XL).  While the Asha 230 is a full-touch operated device, the Nokia 220 is a non-touch device. Both come in either single and dual-SIM versions.

The Nokia 220 comes with only 2G connectivity, also without Wi-Fi. However, Twitter and Facebook are pre-installed on the phone. It is available in a variety of bold colours with a 2.4" display.

The Asha 230 features a 2.8″ of the same QVGA (320 x 240) resolution and a 1.3 MP camera on the back. It sports Nokia’s Glance screen tech, which is not present in Lumia 520. It comes with a 1020 mAh battery that’s good for 33 days of stand by time according to Nokia.

How Much Will Nokia Asha 230 and Nokia 220 Cost in Nigeria?


The 220 starts at an insanely-low €29 while the Asha 230 starts at €45.

This means, Nokia 200 will cost around N7, 000 once available in Nigeria while the Asha 230 might cost around N12,000.

I will update the price once the Nokia 220 and Asha 230 are available at SLOT, Jumia, Konga and other Nigerian online phone shops.
